Reiki – Spiritual Ideals

The Reiki principles are spiritual ideals, by adopting these precepts you will add balance and substance to your life. It is important that you realize that it is not expected that you live every moment of your life within the framework of these ideals, as humans we are all imperfect and that is why each principle begins with “JUST FOR TODAY”. You can’t with pressure or stress work on improving yourself daily, If you slip up today you can always start over again tomorrow.
The more you work with the principles the more you will condition yourself to adopt the principles as a way of life.
To become more familiar with the Reiki principles I advise that you read them out loud at least twice a day, might be a good idea to keep a large copy of the ideals in a picture frame that you can position it wherever you are sure to see them each day.
The 5 Reiki principles means different things for each one of us, meditate on them so you can unlock your own percepcions.
The 5 principles are:

1- Just for today I will not worry
2- Just for today I will not be angry
3- Just for today I will do my work honestly
4- Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings
5- Just for today I will be kind to my neighbour and every living thing

Simply sit or lay down comfortably and close your eyes, repeat one of the ideals several times as a mantra, as you drift into a meditative state become aware about what happens inside of your mind and body , you may experience many different feelings, emotions or thoughts, go through each one of the principles. This exercise might open a spiritual gate in your soul bringing you the positive change in your life that you have been wanting.
In our Reiki courses We talk more in depth about each principle working as a group to unlock your own perceptions on each of the 5 Reiki ideals, helping you to identify your strengths but more importantly your weaknesses, so you can improve yourself, increasing your potential to heal others and to heal yourself.

Reiki Level I and II Certificate Course
Here are some information on what Reiki is and how you can learn to use it.

We can’t deny the energy that surrounds us. Call it Reiki, Universal Healing, Therapeutic Healing, Prana, Qi, Chi, Holy Spirit or any other name. Energy is our source of life, we may survive without water, food or some parts of our body for a period of time but we can’t survive without the Prana, vital Energy. This Prana or energy is our life.
But before we understand Reiki healing, we need to understand the nature of healing itself. The word “heal” comes from the root “holy”. The human body is connected with its internal health maintaining intelligence. This intelligence repairs and heals its charge – the body. People think that they are healed by many different kinds of systems of medicine and therapy, whether modern or traditional, mantra, crystal or faith. What we need to understand is that the real healer is actually within ourselves and not outside. Nobody can heal us unless we want to be healed.

Reiki course will happen:
Date: October 29th (Level I) and October 30th (Level II)
Time: 9:30am to 4:00pm on October 29th and 9:00am to 3:00pm October 30th, 2016.
Location: #220, 259 Midpark Way SE. Across the hallway from my massage clinic in this beautiful spiritual space of my dear friend Patricia Monna.
Investment: $300 – both levels (or $200 for only level I)

On Reiki Level 1 you will learn how to use Reiki for yourself as well as how to
treat pets and plants.

Course includes:
– What is Reiki?
– Brief history
– The attunement process
– Reiki to self, pets and plants
– How to protect and preserve your energy levels
– Practice sessions: self-treatment; give and receive
a session.

Max 10 students. Fee includes teachings, course
manual and certificate of attendance.

Reiki Level 2:
Will allow you to treat others. You will learn the
three sacred symbols, learn to send Reiki from a
distance and more. The second degree gives you the
option to offer Reiki professionally as a holistic
practitioner.

Course includes:
– Three sacred symbols to deepen and increase healing
energies
– Introduction to the chakras and energetic bodies
– Reiki as a profession and the practical issue of
charging for the treatment.
– Self-healing meditation
– Distance healing
– Practice sessions: Group healing as receiver and as
healer.

Max 10 students. Fee includes teachings, course
manual and certificate of Practitioner.
